Where is Bristol Pear Selly Oak located?

We're located on Bristol Road - a 2 minute walk from Selly Oak Station and an 8-10 minute walk from Selly Oak Shopping Park.

Is your space fully private?

Yes, The Avenue our pub function room gives you access to your own space and private bar.

Can I decorate the space for my event?

Yes! You are welcome to decorate the room. However, we please ask that you do not use confetti or attach anything to the walls that could cause damage.

Can I bring a DJ?

The Avenue has plug & play facilities to play your own music. Please let us know if you would like to bring a DJ or ask us about the cost for our in-house DJ.

Do you offer food and drinks packages?

We have a buffet menu and drinks packages to cater your event. Please note: we do not offer meals from our main menu in our private hire space. External catering is not permitted but you are welcome to bring your own cake.

What occasions is the space suitable for?

Hen Parties, Stag Dos, Birthdays, Work Events and so much more!

Are under-18s welcome?

Under 18s are welcome until 7pm if buffet food is ordered, however up to 10pm with a private function in The Avenue.

Is the space dog-friendly?

Unfortunately, our venue is not dog-friendly.

Is there disabled access?

Unfortunately there is no step-free access to our private space, The Avenue. Apologies for the inconvenience. However, the ground floor of our venue is accessible.
